The Fur Trade
Dressed in period costume as a Hudson's Bay fur trader, I visit your school with a trunk full of Native artifacts, Hudson's Bay goods and historic photos. Following some discussion I invite students to role-play Europeans and Natives as they conduct a trade for the furs, blankets, beads and tobacco from the trunk. 1 hour program $75.00 + GST.
