Attracted by the spawning fish along lakes and rivers in the Lakeland
Region, black bears gather to feed, shed their winter coats and socialize. We offer an
ultimate wildlife experience that looks at the majestic black bear in this environment.
The 3 day adventure includes a visit to an old growth pine forest, birding at Jessie
Lake and bison viewing at Elk Island National Park. We will also tour through Kalyna
Country which is rich in culture with its numerous heritage churches.. Price includes
a 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn The Palace, 2 nights and meals at Iron River Ranch,

Route of the Voyager
Experience the coming together of cultures in the fur trade of the 18th
century along the North Saskatchewan River with a tour of Fort George and Buckingham House.
This is an historic site where the North West Company and Hudson’s Bay posts were built
in 1792. We will travel by jet boat to explore Smudge Island, a favorite campsite of the
early voyager. This package includes a tour of heritage churches in Kalyna Country and
a visit to Elk Island National Park to view bison and elk. Prices include transportation,
jet boat trip, picnic lunch, Smudge Island tour and admissions and GST.
